FALL MAINTENANCE

Fall is here and the lawns are starting to turn towards winter hibernation. Although lawns wont need to be mowed anymore there are still other maintenance requirements around your home that will need your attention. Here are a few items you need to be on top of to avoid those sometimes necessary violation notices.

• Mulch and especially pine straw may need a fall application to freshen it up.
• Flowering annuals will need to be removed from plant beds after the first cold snap
• Leaves will need to be raked from lawns
• Winter weeds will need to be kept at bay
• Power washing may need to be done on the exterior of the home
• Fences may need to be power washed as well
  

Additionally, with cold weather approaching homeowners should also look at the exterior of their homes for any nooks, cracks or holes where critters and bugs will be seeking to find warmth to spend the winter. spray foam around cable, a/c lines, electric lines and pipes where they enter the home to prevent these pesky creatures from setting up camp in your home.
